Accumulators & Receiver Driers (also Filter Drier) are the system's filter. The role of this part is to store and filter refrigerant and oil. It has a desiccant bag that absorbs moisture & debris, and should be changed any time the AC System is opened.

Automotive AC Condenser
The Condenser is located right in front of the radiator. High pressure (hot) refrigerant travels through it and cools off as air passes through. Most late-model condensers cannot be flushed due to multiple flow paths, and must be replaced if restricted.

Automotive AC Expansion Device
Expansion Valves, Block, and Orifice Tubes restrict and control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator. Orifice tubes can easily become clogged, and must be replaced any time the system is opened. Valves should be inspected for proper operation.

Automotive AC Refrigerant Oil
Refrigerant Oil keeps all moving parts, particularly the AC Compressor, lubricated. Some oil, like ours, contains dye to assist in checking for leaks in the system. To much oil in the system can cause poor cooling, too little can damage the Compressor.
